Mark Gaus comes to the Cayman Islands Real Estate industry with a long-time passion for real estate investing. Mark has strong experience in sales negotiations, pioneering marketing practices, and a desire to always do his best for his clients. Receiving multiple awards for outstanding sales, he has quickly grown to be a well-known and high achieving real estate professional. Most recently in 2020, he was ranked #1 in Residential Sales among 500 plus other agents in the Caribbean and Central America within the RE/MAX Network, he was also ranked #22 Globally (everywhere besides N. America). Also in 2020, Mark was awarded ‘Agent of the Year’ which takes many aspects into consideration, not just overall sales.

Mark was first introduced to the Cayman Islands by his wife, whose family has called Cayman home for over ten generations. You can tell that Mark loves Cayman from the first time you speak with him. “Cayman is a very unique place, we enjoy a high standard of living, with strong diversified markets in finance, real estate, and tourism. Grand Cayman is conveniently located just over an hour away from the U.S. by plane. Cayman is a wonderful place to live, work, vacation, and raise a family.”

Mark studied Business Management at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he received his Masters of Business Administration degree, MBA. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mark has always loved the subtropical weather and lifestyle. As a self-described people person, he loves meeting new individuals and engaging with his clients. When he is away from business, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy, daughter, Collynn and son, Reece.
